Questions about limits, streaks, or alerts — most answers are below. If you're testing the beta, TestFlight feedback reaches us fastest; the form at the bottom works too.
Testing the beta?
The quickest way to report a bug or send feedback: open TestFlight, tap Scroll Well, then tap Send Beta Feedback. Crash reports also come to us automatically. Everything lands in one place, and we read all of it.
Common questions
Is Scroll Well available for Android?
Not yet. Scroll Well is iPhone-only at launch — it's built on Apple's Screen Time tools. An Android version is a later step we'll consider based on how the iPhone launch goes.
How does Scroll Well know my time?
With your permission, it uses Apple's Screen Time to watch the social apps you choose. You get a gentle heads-up at 80% of your daily limit and a note at 100%. Scroll Well only notifies — it never blocks or locks your apps.
Do I have to connect Screen Time?
No. Encouraging someone and keeping your streak work either way. The limit alerts are the part that needs Screen Time connected, which you can do in the app under Settings → Screen Time.
Why didn't I get an alert?
Check three things: Screen Time shows as connected in Settings, notifications are allowed for Scroll Well in your iPhone settings, and you've picked the apps to watch. Screen Time's numbers can also run a little behind, so an alert occasionally lands a few minutes after you cross a milestone.
What are grace days and reviews?
Life happens. Each month you get 2 grace days to cover a day you went over your limit, plus 1 review to dispute an alert you believe was wrong. Days over your limit appear in Settings under Limit alerts, labeled "Limit passed" until they're covered — then they read "Grace day applied" or "Dispute day applied."
How does the streak work?
A day counts toward your streak when you've encouraged someone and stayed under your limit. Each counted day lights a window in your neighborhood and helps it grow.
How do I change my daily limit?
In the app, go to Settings and use the daily limit stepper — anywhere from 15 to 120 minutes.
What data does Scroll Well collect?
Very little, by design. There are no accounts and no sign-up. Your days, streaks, and settings live on your device, and Scroll Well doesn't sell data or send your social media activity to us.
