Scroll Well

Privacy Policy

Scroll Well is made by Lunchbox Dad, LLC. This policy explains what the Scroll Well app and this website do with information — which is deliberately very little. Effective October 20, 2026.

The short version

Scroll Well has no accounts and no sign-up. The app keeps everything on your iPhone — we run no server that receives your activity, we show no ads, we use no trackers or analytics, and we never sell data. The only information we ever receive is what you choose to send us through the support form on this website.

What the app stores on your device

To work, the app saves a small amount of information on your iPhone only, including:

This information never leaves your device for us. Scroll Well does not sync it to a cloud account, and deleting the app deletes it.

Screen Time and Family Controls

If you connect Screen Time, Scroll Well uses Apple's Family Controls framework — the same system behind Apple's own Screen Time features. Apple tells the app only that your chosen apps have crossed the thresholds you set (50%, 80%, and 100% of your daily limit), so the app can log the day and send the alerts you asked for.

The app cannot see what you read, write, watch, or post, and it never blocks or locks your apps. Screen Time processing happens on your device, and you can disconnect Screen Time at any time in the app's Settings.

Notifications

Scroll Well's reminders and limit alerts are local notifications, created and delivered on your iPhone. There is no push-notification server, and we collect no device tokens.

What we don't collect

The app contains no advertising, no analytics or crash-reporting services from third parties, and no tracking of any kind. We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, browsing history, or the content of anything you post. We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with advertisers or data brokers — there is essentially nothing to share.

This website and the support form

This website is a set of plain pages: it sets no cookies and runs no analytics. If you write to us through the support form, we receive the name, email address, and message you enter. Our website host, Netlify, processes the submission so it can reach us. We use your message only to answer you and to improve the app, and we keep it only as long as that's useful. If you'd like a message you sent us deleted, ask through the same form and we'll remove it.

If you are testing Scroll Well through Apple's TestFlight, any feedback or crash reports you send there are handled by Apple under Apple's own privacy policy, and shared with us as the developer.

Children

Scroll Well is a general-audience app and is not directed at children under 13. Since the app collects no personal information, there is nothing about a child for us to collect.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Meaningful changes will be reflected in the app's App Store privacy details as well.
